[Football- England 'Championship'] 16.12/ 16:00 Southampton- Blackburn
Straighforward today, and three units - skimpy odds but I have to stop the rot. Southampton are essentially a premiership team playing in the championship and were my pick for the league at the start of the season. Leiciester and Ipswich are yet to have their brown patch so I still think they'll be in the mix.
Southampton at home are formidable only getting beat by the aforementione Leicester and Ipswich and last time out the beat a resurgent Cardiff City - scoring 2 early goals, Cardiff were lucky it wasn't more. Southampton are on a 13 game unbeaten run and this should be three points.
Blackburn won at home against a schizophrenic (re: inconsistent) Bristol City, but prior to that were on a run of defeats. Not helped by a long list of injuries, the eleven Tomasson picks are no-where near the first eleven.
Todays Ref is Graham Scott who keeps his cards in his pocket - handing out an average of 2.25 per game.
