Today match is between 2 of the best teams from German league, Oldenburg is know for their good run in their recent years especially when playing at home, they managed to keep some core players from their roster for some years now and added some interesting ones this season as well, they added the former NBA and Barcelona player Phil Pressey and Keith Hornsby which is an interesting point guard while keeping their good players like Ricky Paulding, Rasid Mahalbasic, Nathan Boothe and Braydon Hobbs. It is a really interesting group of players to me and also the chemistry should be on point even tho they added at guard positions and it's a very important game for them to see if they can compete with the greats or not...I believe they can
On the other hand, Alba is really struggling this season, they lost 2 of their best players from the last season, losing Hermannsson and Giedratis also a good guard , Peyton Siva is still missing, the replacements aren't as great as you'd expect from a squad like Alba Berlin... I mean Simone Fontecchio who used to be a forever bench player in Milano squad and Jayson Granger who considered retiring after being so poor in the last seasons...Lo is a great pick up but still I don't think it's enough and they'll struggle this season where I can't see them winning more than 5 matches in Euroleague and in championship as well with teams such as Oldenburg, Ludwigsburg, Ulm, even Bonn that they barely beat last round.
