[Football- Euro 2024 Qualifiers] 17.11/ 18:00 Moldova- Albania
Taking Albania, the leaders of Group E today, against 4th place Moldova. Albania have been absolutely rocking this qualification period. With 4 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss in 6 games played. They're a team that can take a challenge on any ground. Their loss came against Poland in the first game of the qualies, and since then they've buckled up well. They're coming off a big big 3-0 win against Czechia, who sit in second place in the table and who were also unbeaten before the encounter. Albania need one point to secure qualification and will look to grab all 3 tomorrow. Albania's defensive record has been what has impressed me the most, only conceding 3 goals in the 6 games they've played while scoring 11.
Moldova are a quite resilient team, but they are a team of individual quality and unfortunately for them, their leading goal scorer in the competition, Nicolaescu, the man who has saved them countless times is as of now out for the game tomorrow after getting injured in their last qualification game on October 15 against Poland. He has scored 4 of the 6 goals Moldova have scored this campaign. Moldova sit with 2 wins, 3 draws, and 1 loss in their last 6; they've conceded 6 goals and scored 6. It will be a match of resolve, but I see Albania taking it home.
