[Tennis- ATP Sofia] 12.11/ 17:30 J.Milman- V.Pospisil
I’m tired of everyone not believing in John Millman. The 31 year old finally won his first title , was an underdog for every match but his qualifiers , and now proceeds to the quarter finals here in Bulgaria. This geezer LOVES fast, hard courts , and his best appearance In a major came on this same exact surface . In 2018 he made the quarters in the US Open, and even beat Federer on the way. Even after his first career win a couple weeks back the bookies continue to shrug him off with +120 - +200 lines.
I’m a Canadian , so I love my national players . But Pospisil is just not a great singles tennis player. He’s more of a doubles player but he’s focusing more on singles now. Vasek does lead the head to head when he kicked ass for Canada and beat Millman to take us to a semi final at the Davis cup. Now that game doesn’t mean anything here because that specific game meant so much for player and country . This game doesn’t carry the same implications.
I’m sure this will be a tight match. Millman wins in three sets but I totally do not count out a Millman 2-0 and I’m sprinkling that as well at +237.
