Today I’m looking at this match in the Europa League, and as someone who’s followed Liverpool for well over a decade, I’m pretty confident they will grab all three points and put up several goals in the process in this match.

Liverpool come into this match in really good form, having won all but one of their Premier League matches. Their only draw was their opening match against Chelsea which ended 1-1. Since then they have put up 11 goals and only conceded 3. I expect Liverpool to rotate a good amount this match, but not as much as many are expecting. Even if they do, the likes of Gakpo, Jota, Jones, Elliott, Bajectic, and others will likely get a chance to proof themselves. The starting 11 of Liverpool will completely outmatch Linz no matter the squad Klopp selects. The main thing is that their attack has so much depth I just don’t see Linz being able to contain the Reds.

LASK Linz have started well in the Austrian league, and have 4 wins 2 draws and 1 loss so far. I’m not putting too much weight to this though because of course their level of competition is several tiers below the Premier League. They’ve also conceded in fair amount of home games as well, just two games ago they conceded 4 to a Czech team who are 13th in their league.

I’m not entirely sure what lineup Klopp will put out so it could be smart to wait until the lineups are released, but I’m taking this line right now as I think for the value its a really good bet. The only thing worse than being in Europa is losing in Europa and i think Klopp will take the tournament seriously. This Liverpool team are very very strong and always have a strong bench to rely on in case the starting players don’t do the business. Unless some weird stuff happens, I don’t think they’ll struggle.

Other bets I like for this match are Jota to score (if he starts) Nunez to score (if he starts) and Liverpool over 2.5 TT. I’ll post my other bets for tomorrow in the soccer thread so maybe check that out if you want.
