[Tennis- ATP St. Petersburg] 13.10/ 13:00 T.Fritz- C.Norrie
Norrie has been solid on hard court since tennis began, beating Mahryzhak, Kukushkin, Schwartzman, Coria and losing to Opelka and Davidovich Fokina. Maybe he should've won against Fokina, but Fokina was playing really well in the tournament and losing to Opelka is completely justified imo. On the other side, Fritz beat Koepfer, Simon and Harris and lost to Shapovalov and Bedene, solid results, but he definitely shouldn't have lost to Bedene. I am not giving much attention to clay court results, because they are both bad on clay compared to hard and it is stupid to compare who is better on their worse surface. Their h2h on hard is 2-2 with all 4 matches being from 2020 or 2019 with their last clash resulting in Norrie winning in 3 in 2020. Fritz served well that match and still lost and his 1st serve% from past few matches was lower than in his match vs Norrie. There is a possibility that Norrie loses this match, but with odds being at 3.0, there is great value on Norrie imo.
