[Football- 'International Friendlies] 7.10/ 20:45 Germany- Turkey
Germany traditionally "sucks" in friendlies, mostly because coach Löw rotates heavily and tries tactics and stuff. He recently nominated youngster players or players who haven't played a full match for about a year (Mo Dahoud) to national team.
My thesis on this is that Germany will not even play 60% effort while Turkey might take it pretty seriously (ofc they got things to try out themselves, but I assert they really use this match to finetune their A-team and turkish players got way less scheduled games in past and future).
Then came yesterdays news:
Germany will officially (!) bring their B-squad and most likely only Kai Havertz from A-squad will play right away.
Traditionally, Löw will have to answer questions about the squad being in shit shape after such matches, because public freaks out about a fkin friendly match not being won as every game has to be won in their pov. So this time he sends the b squad to preemtively shut that down for the most part (and of course give rest to the A players). This B squad has not played a real match yet and they only had several days to train respectively.
