[Football- Netherlands "Eerste Division"] 11.11/ 18:45 Graafschap- NAC Breda

This might be our riskiest bet yet as there is no clear skill disparity between these two teams. De Graafschap actually were on course to get promoted last year while NAC has been floating in and around the eredivisie for the last 5 years. De Graafschap are currently third while NAC come in at fourth, with a single point difference, which yet again shows how close these teams are.

In terms of form, NAC is not looking too great. NAC have lost 4 out of their last 5 games! Well, NAC were actually in the first place before these losses occurred. They had 18 points out of the 6 games played and were one of the top contenders for the title. Then corona came around and infected a lot of players from the NAC squad; in their cup game they had 10 players (!) who were infected with covid and thus couldn't play, which lead to an embarrassing game for NAC. Anyways, NAC will really want to win here, the three league games they lost were against the 1st, 2nd and 6th place teams and that cost them some valuable points. If they lose here against De Graafschap it will be a huge hit to NAC as this is a must-win in terms of title-contention.

If we want NAC to succeed here tonight, we want van Hooijdonk to succeed aswell as he is the most important player for them. He has scored in almost every win of NAC, but has not scored in a single loss of theirs. Although van Hooijdonk was one of the players who had gotten no rest at all during the covid-infections,I do believe after a little time-off van Hooijdonk will score at least one tonight.

TLDR: De Graafschap is in better form, but honestly, these teams are quite similar in terms of skill so I don't mind taking a recovered and poised NAC to win or draw against de Graafschap, especially since their pre-covid form was very good.
