[Football- England 'Premier League'] 29.10/ 15:00 Aston Villa- Luton

Aston Villa are in amazing form right now. They are on a run of 11 home victories and have looked fantastic under Emery recently. They’re playing attractive, fluid football and Ollie Watkins is finally finding his form. They demolished a very very good Brighton just a few game weeks back 6-1, as well as West Ham 4-1 and typically are super strong in front of the home fans. Their last match was an away victory against Alkmaar where they put up 4 goals, and AZ are genuinely not a bad team at all. They sit in 5th, with 6 wins 1 draw and two losses and they’ve scored 17 goals in only 4 games at Villa Park and I believe they will heap misery on Luton who aren’t exactly the strongest defensively. I do not expect Emery to rotate as every game in this league is important, so I’m expecting players like Diaby, Watkins, Luis, all to start (I love Watkins to score here as a side bet). If you just look at the team sheets of these two teams it’s very very obvious that Villa boast by far the superior team. Unless they have a SERIOUS off day, I don’t see Aston Villa not making easy work of the visitors.

While Luton have somewhat picked up form in their last few games they have still not been a threatening team at all this season, they have a goal difference of -9 and sit in the relegation zone at 18th place. Although they have shown better away form than home form, Villa are totally different level team to Nottingham and Everton, and Villa also have a much stronger and organized backline. I expect Luton to revert to a back 4 as opposed to their back 3 that they played against Nottingham, knowing that their best shot at getting a result is by sitting as deep as they can and trying to nullify the attacking firepower of Villa. I just don’t think they will be able to go the full 90 without conceding goals, and once Villa get one in, Luton will be forced to step out of their own half which will only be worse for them. I also think their midfield will be overrun with Villa’s 4-4-2 lineup. Villa love to pack the midfield and use their width to work their way up the pitch. As long as Watkins has his shooting boots on and they make sure to create lots of chances, I don’t see Villa being troubled here at all. I will say 2-0 or 3-0 to Villa.
