Ferencváros had a great run through the qualifiers last season, beating Djurgårdens IF, Celtic Glasgow, Dinamo Zagreb and Molde FK on their way to the group stage. Sadly, they had no chance in their group with FC Barcelona, Juventus Turin and Dynamo Kyiv, but showed good fighting spirit. Meanwhile, they absolutely smashed their league with 20 points more than the second place and only one loss the entire season. After their very successful season, they appointed a new coach, Peter Stöger who's very experienced and (in my opinion) a good coach for this level of play. Their preparation for this match has been quite challenging, unlike their opponents who played against teams from North Macedonia, San Marino and Andorra (the latter are the two lowest ranked leagues in Europe). Also their stadium will probably be full. Without a lot of data due to the lack of competitive games, I'm expecting a comfortable 3-0 win or higher for the Hungarian champions to wrap it up in the first leg.
