[Football- World Cup Qualifications Asia] 15.6/ 18:45 UAE-Vietnam

I have written about the United Arab Emirates many times. Throughout the qualifying tournament played this year, they are playing really well. 3 matches - 3 wins. Balance of goals 12: 1. Vietnam, on the other hand, played "only" 2 matches, but also won both. Balance of goals 6: 1.
The situation is clear that this is the last group match. Vietnam is in first place, 2 points ahead of the UAE in second place. Direct promotion to the third qualifying round will only guarantee first place. In addition, 4 out of 8 teams from 2 places will be promoted. Currently, looking at this table, the UAE ranks 5th in this classification, so it is not promoted. It is true that they still have their match, but China, Uzbekistan, Iran, Jordan and Kyrgyzstan also have their own match. It is true that each of these teams has a match with the most difficult team in their group (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Australia). So it can mix up a bit here, but anyway, for the UAE to have any chances of further promotion, it must at least draw and then look at other teams.
However, in my opinion, today's hosts will not limit themselves to calculations, but will want to win their game calmly and jump to the first place in the group and secure a direct promotion. After the last matches you can see how much potential they have in the offensive. Mabkhout and Fabio Lima are in a very good shape and create a lot of goalkeeping situations. Actually the two of them are responsible for most of the goals scored by the UAE in these last matches (they scored 9 out of 12). The offensive potential is amazing. However, someone may think that hello, Vietnam lost only 2 goals in qualifying, why would it be an overy match today? I watched their game against Malaysia and I will say that their defense was much worse than usual. Such a not-so-good Malaysia created a lot of situations after the defenders' mistakes and could easily score 2-3 goals instead of 1. Vietnam surprised me with its offensive power. They also created a lot of situations for themselves, only it was not effective. They could also score 3-4 goals themselves.
If the trend from the previous meeting continues, I think we will watch a nice meeting. Vietnam will probably come out defensively, but I think that after the first goal for the UAE the game will open up a bit.
